Safety checks and professional drivers behind every trip
Most of what keeps a coach trip safe happens before anyone climbs aboard. Every operator has to keep up strict checks, and the more people a vehicle carries, the more that work matters.
We maintain our vehicles in-house, in our own purpose-built workshop, to DVSA standards. IRTEC accredited technicians carry out a safety inspection on each one every six weeks, including a roller brake test and a diesel smoke test. Our coaches are fitted with three-point seatbelts, CCTV and GPS tracking.
Our professional drivers are enhanced DBS checked against the Adults and Children Barred Lists. They go through random alcohol and drug testing, routine eyesight checks and medicals, and ongoing CPC training. When the group is a class of pupils or includes a vulnerable passenger, those checks give you a safe pair of hands.
Euro 6 low-emission standards are increasingly being met by coach fleets, and 11 of our 12 coaches meet them, with ULEZ, CAZ and LEZ compliance for city trips to London, Bath, Bristol and Birmingham. Every vehicle is fully insured and driven by a smartly uniformed driver with experience across the UK and Europe.
