Kensington Palace &Windsor

Sunday

We board our coach this morning and make our way to Kensington and the Holiday Inn for our 2 night break which includes a couple of excellent London experiences.

Monday

We have a little free time this morning before making our way to Kensington Palace. Kensington Palace is a special place. Queen Victoria was born here and in more recent years it has been home to Princess Margaret, Princess Diana and now the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. We can explore the state rooms and the sunken gardens before Afternoon Tea in the Orangery. Tea will be sandwiches ,scone with clotted cream & jam, pastries plus tea and coffee.

Tuesday

Today we will make our way to central London for the morning “at leisure” before boarding the Windsor Steam Train for a 90 minute journey. We can enjoy the scenery as the train leaves London, crosses the Thames and heads up through the countryside to Windsor. You will be welcomed on board with a glass of Champagne before enjoying a delicious cream tea. On arrival we have some time in Windsor before boarding the coach for our homeward journey.
