Day 1
Following a morning departure we travel northwards to the historic Nidd Hall Hotel, it has all the modern features and facilities associated with the Warner’s group.
Day 2
This morning we have an optional excursion to Harewood House, with it’s beautiful interiors by Robert Adam and a magnificent exterior by John Carr.
Day 3
Today we have excursion to the city of York, with its stunning minister, the impressive railway museum and the excellent Jorvik museum, or take advantage of the superb variety of shops available.
Day 4
This morning we board our coach for a scenic drive to the popular market town of Skipton, we return via Ilkley and Olley to the delightful Victorian spa town of Harrogate. Worth a visit is the famous Bettys tea rooms, this is the perfect place to enjoy afternoon tea.
Day 5
Today we leave Nidd Hall stopping en-route at Holmfirth, setting for the ever-popular series Last of the Summer Wine. Immerse yourself in stories of Compo, Clegg and Norah Batty – maybe even enjoy tea and a sticky bun in Sid’s Café. We continue our journey home arriving early evening.
