Day 1
Following a morning departure we travel to Dover for the short sea crossing to Calais, on arrival we rejoin our coach and travel through Northern France to Reims where we spend the night at the Quality Hotel.
Day 2
Today we continue our journey across central France and the scenic drive through the Vosges mountains and on towards the Swiss border at Basel, from here we travel via the capital city of Bern and onto the lovely lakeside resort of Montreux, here we spend three nights at the Golf Hotel Rene Capt.
Day 3
Today we travel to Lausanne for a boat trip to France and the lovely town of Evian-Les-Bains. After time at leisure here return by boat to Lausanne for a visit to the Olympic Museum. We return to Montreux for dinner.
Day 4
Today we have a morning visit to Chillon Castle before we join the Cogwheel Train in Montreux for a journey high up into the mountains to the vantage point at Rochers-de-Naye, for terrific views of Lake Geneva. Return to Montreux by train.
Day 5
Today we travel to Gruyeres, dominated by its beautiful castle on then to Gstaad to join the Golden Pass Panorama Express for the journey in a first class carriage to Montreux, with breathtaking views along the whole route.
Day 6
Today we leave this lovely location and commence the homeward journey towards the border at Basel and onto Reims where we spend our last night at the Quality Hotel.
Day 7
After breakfast we board our coach and leave this lovely city and travel to Calais for the return sea crossing to Dover, from here we make our way towards home, arriving during the evening.
