Day 1
Following an early start we travel to Dover where we board the ferry for the short sea crossing to Calais, on arrival we rejoin our coach and travel through Northern France passing the lovely city of Reims and the Champagne region, we continue towards the Burgundy wine region where we spend our first night at the Park Inn Hotel in the town of Macon.

Day 2
We leave Macon and continue our journey heading Southwards towards the coast and on passing Montpellier and Perpignon to the Spanish border, from here we travel to the popular resort of Santa Susanna on the Costa Brava, here we spend seven nights at the Florida Park Hotel.

Days 3 - 8
During our stay in this popular resort, various optional excursions are offered, these include a full day to Barcelona, the second largest city in Spain, it is also the capital of Catalonia, a day in the mountains to Montserrat and a full day Catalonia Coastal tour along the Coast Brava coastline visiting the popular fishing port Palamos and the medieval old town of Pals, we continue to Girona, its historic centre is dominated by medieval buildings, we also have a few days at leisure to relax and enjoy the resort and the hotel facilities.

Day 9
Today we leave Spain and retrace our outward journey into France and Northwards to our overnight stop in Macon at the Park Inn Hotel.

Day 10
An early start is required to allow enough time for the journey to Calais for the ferry crossing to Dover, from here we continue towards home, arriving during the evening.
