Monday

Following a morning departure we travel towards North Wales. Making the usual refreshment stops en-route we arrive at the Beaufort Park Hotel during the afternoon. The hotel is situated on the outskirts of Mold and is ideal for touring this part of North Wales.


Tuesday

This morning we travel towards Llangollen via the Horseshoe Pass. After some free time in town we experience a 2 hour relaxing horse drawn canal boat cruise. Admiring the Chain Bridge across the River Dee and marvelling at the man made Horsehoe Falls, a striking feature, whilst gliding along one of the most beautiful lengths of canal to be

seen.


Wednesday

Today we return to Llangollen for a ride on the Llangollen Railway which is primarily a heritage railway. Our 90 minute return journey begins beside the River Dee and takes us 10 miles to Carrog Station before returning to Llangollen. Afterwards we travel to the lovely city of Chester. We have time here to maybe walk the city walls, see the unique

Rows, the two tier shops and the many independent shops the city has to offer.


Thursday

This morning we travel to the popular coastal resort of Llandudno, the most popular resort in North Wales with it’s wide sweeping promenade. The town is protected by the Great Orme. From the top there are fine views of the town and coastline.


Friday

This morning we board our coach for the homeward journey, Making the usual refreshment stops we arrive during the afternoon.
