GERMANY - COCHEM & THE MOSEL
Staying at the Hotel Muller, Cochem
Tuesday 12th – Saturday 16th May 2009
5 Days

Day 1
Following an early morning departure we travel to Dover where we board the ferry for the short sea crossing to Calais on arrival we rejoin our coach and travel through France and Belgium and into Germany where we spend 4 nights at the Hotel Muller, Cochem. The hotel is situated in the centre of Cochem only a short walk from the river and from the old town.

Day 2
This morning we have at leisure to relax and explore Cochem and its long riverside promenade. See the old town and its many historic sites and pretty shops, cafes and restaurants. This afternoon we have included a wine tasting at a winery only a short walk from the hotel.

Day 3
Today we have an excursion along the Mosel to Koblenz, where the Mosel meets the mighty Rhine.

Day 4
Today we have a full day excursion travelling along the Mosel with morning stop at Bernkastel Kues before carrying on to Trier. Here we have time at leisure to explore Germany’s oldest city before returning to Cochem.

Day 5
Today we leave our hotel and make our way to through Belgium to Calais for the return crossing to Dover. On arrival we rejoin the coach and continue the homeward journey arriving home during the early evening.
