CHRISTMAS IN AUSTRIA

Day 1
Following an early start we travel to Dover where we board the ferry for the short sea crossing to Calais, on arrival we rejoin our coach and travel through Northern France passing Reims and the Champagne region and onto the city of Metz, here we spend the night at the Holiday Inn.
Day 2
Today we continue our journey through France into Germany passing Stuttgart and Munich and on into Austria to the resort of Westendorf in the heart of the Austrian Tyrol, here we spend our Christmas at the Hotel Briem.
Day 3
This morning we travel through the valley to visit the lovely city of Innsbruck, the cultural and tourist capital of the Tyrol, on the way we will make a stop at Wattens and Swarovski Crystal World.
Day 4 – Christmas Eve
After breakfast we board our coach and travel to the lovely town of Kufstein, the town is overlooked by the impressive castle, we return during the early afternoon.
Day 5 – Christmas Day
A day at leisure to relax and enjoy this lovely area.
Day 6 – Boxing Day
A day at leisure, during the morning a cable car ride to one of the snow covered mountains can be arranged. (Driver to arrange)
Day 7
Today we leave this beautiful Alpine region and commence our homeward journey through Germany into France and our last night at the Holiday Inn, Metz.
Day 8
After breakfast we leave Metz and continue through France to Calais where we board the ferry for the return crossing to Dover, on arrival we rejoin our coach and head towards home arriving during the evening.
