Day 1
Following an early start we travel to Dover where we board the ferry for the short sea crossing to Calais, on arrival we rejoin our coach and travel through Northern France to the lovely city of Reims, here we spend at the Mercure Hotel des Expositions.

Day 2
Today we journey takes us through the Champagne region and on passing Dijon and Beaune and the Burgundy wine region and on through the Jura mountains, we pass close to the Swiss city of Geneva and on into the Alpine region to the popular town of Chamonix, here we spend five nights at the Alpina Hotel.

Day 3
A day at leisure in Chamonix, a charming town with a friendly atmosphere, surrounded by spectacular scenery and presided over by the ever white Mont Blanc, there a great way to see the spectacular mountain scenery, or take the mountain railway to see the caverns.

Day 4
Today we board our coach  and head for the charming town of Annecy on the banks of the purest lake in Europe, here we can take a stroll through the lovely gardens, enjoy a boat trip on the lake, the town itself is lovely with a maze of narrow streets and its canal quarter known as Little Venice, a visit to the Benedictine Abbey is also worthwhile, we return to Chamonix through the Alpine region and the popular resort of Megeve.

Day 5
This morning we travel through to the lovely spa town of Evian Les Bains on the shore of Lake Geneva, later we continue along the lake and cross the Swiss border to the city of Geneva, here there is a wealth of cultural attractions as well as some high quality shops.

Day 6
After breakfast we board our coach and travel through the mountains into Switzerland to the lovely town of Montreux on the south facing shore of Lake Geneva, it has a long lakeside promenade flanked by beautiful gardens with a variety of exotic plants.

Day 7
Today we leave Chamonix and commence the homeward journey, once again we travel through the Jura Mountains and on passing Dijon and Troyes to Reims where we spend our last night at e Mercure Hotel des Expositions.

Day 8
We leave Reims and travel to Calais where we board the ferry for the return crossing to Dover, from here we continue towards home, arriving during the evening.
